Competition Enrollment, Management & E-commerce System

Champion Productions is a non-profit organization that focuses on holding dance competitions as a way to help build dancers' self-confidence. They have structured each of their competitions to ensure everyone gets awarded something for their efforts, while awarding the best with additional competition opportunities. Champion Productions came to ThoughtLab needing a more streamlined way for allowing dancers and studios to register for competitions, plus a few other things here and there.

• Feature-rich system allows studios to manage dancers, teams, and routines (by genres, sizes, skills and age levels) as well as competitions
• Hundreds of business rules in place to manage what can and can't be done in relation to routine lengths, where a type of routine will be performed (gym, auditorium), how many groups can be in a type of category and so on
• Allows performers to upload music and photos instead of burning a disc to bring to competitions

• Accordion style AJAX functionality allows performers and administrators to get detailed information without having to leave a list
• Event program management gives the ability to automatically sort groups, routines, locations and more; then allows an administrator to make changes and create event programs dynamically based off of business rules
