Multi touch and gesture input device research

October 6th, 2009 | Author: by Jared Bouck

This is a fascinating video from the research labs at Microsoft where they are demonstrating several new concept input devices that are designed to explore multi-touch and gesture possibilities for computer interaction. This is absolutely exciting and I have to say I want the acrylic mouse right now! Though I do wonder how long it will take them to get these concepts to market.

The first mouse apparently hasn’t seen the momentum scrolling of the MX Revolution which is actually even better because of the tactile feedback =D. The acrylic mouse however is very nice and I am currently looking for a source for a curved piece of acrylic, lol.
