13 Relay is an up-and-coming series of overnight relay races located around the original 13 colonies. The relays are run on beautiful courses surrounded by history. The series is known for excellent organization, adventure and team-building in their one-of-a-kind relays.
A NEW BRAND IDENTITY & WEBSITE
13 Relay came to ThoughtLab asking for an identity, branding and a website that would capture a modern, New England feel. ThoughtLab created a logo patterned after the original 13 colonies flag along with a shape and subtle background pattern that has a hive-like feel, representing the team and community building that happens on these 24 hour races. We created an atmospheric background to bring in the feeling of New England and added a card-like interface with Flash interactivity to bring motion and energy to the site.
DETAILS
The website is a Flash/HTML hybrid site. All internal pages are controlled by ThoughtLab's Content Management System which allows 13 Relay to update the site in an instant, without the need for programming.
