<br />Hey Thoughtlab fans, it’s that time again. What time, you ask. Well, time for the Muse Creative Awards. If you’re unfamiliar with these awards, here’s a little run down for you;

The Muse Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals who possess a unique ability to inspire with concept, idea or design. This can be achieved through traditional materials or electronic media. A creative mind surely likes a decent paycheck, however, it is fueled by so much more. The passion for design, for communication and the drive to perfect their craft. Sparked by the inner muse, a good creative mind lays down the path to success with hard earned knowledge and sparkling originality.

The thing about the Muse Awards is they recognize the little guys. These awards recognize advertising excellence in companies and individuals with billings under $30 million annually. Participants are offered the opportunity to showcase their talents among peers and to receive feedback, which is always valuable, and recognition, from industry experts. It’s a pretty dang prestigious award.

So, why are we shouting out about this award? Well, we’re very proud to announce that our creative director and designer extraordinaire, David Valenzia, has received the distinct honor of being selected to the panel of jurists for this years awards.

A forty-seven member panel, gathered from creative agencies from all over the world, will view and adjudicate all the material submitted by this year's hopefuls. We know David for his creative passion, his unique views and his artistic gifts and we’re very happy that he’ll be sharing all those skills while working with this esteemed group. We’re pretty lucky to have a guy with David’s extreme skill set working with us and now we’re kind of giddy proud that the world is going to get a glimpse of the amazingness that we get to work with day after day.

So. keep your eyeballs peeled, the judging runs March 8-15 with the final results announced on March 22. Take a look at the Muse Awards web site, scan through the jury panel list, you’ll see our David, handsome fellow that he is, in that international group. The awards themselves are quite exciting and, if you fall into the parameters, there’s still time to enter. We’re very proud of David and thought we’d share that pride with the world.
